Expanded Daily Tarot: Dec. 6, 2013 - Six of Swords - Clarity and Light

Scott K

Every once in a while I come up with a post in the daily tarot that's just a little to long for platforms like Instagram. I like the photo-sharing of IG and especially the interaction but I can be a little wordy. So, here is the expanded Tarot daily from your's truly. First, if I may, let me set the tone: music for you from Deborah Van Dyke, "Awakening. If you care to please press play.

“Fear prophets, Adso, and those prepared to die for the truth, for as a rule they make many others die with them, often before them, at times instead of them.” ― Umberto EcoThe Name of the Rose
December 6th, we are holding focus on…

"Lord of Earned Success. Mercury and Aquarius. Success after Anxiety and Trouble. Beauty. A journey. Ware stalemates, confessions and unwanted proposals."

― The Hermetic Tarot

25 Days remain, 78 Cards in our Tarot Journey
Approaching the Winter Solstice, in the Season of Lights, and long cool nights in the Northern Hemisphere, we enter the time of reflection, warmth of togetherness, and connection to our higher self. Demonstrated in various cultures through some form of address and atonement, often in the Autumn, and the importance of humanity, spirit, and our connection to our personal and cultural divinities in the Winter. Longer nights bring people closer together. Speaking from the space of cultures that celebrate light in these forms: God; Spirit; Family; Ancestors; Heaven; Summer Lands; and the like.

Six of Swords, according to Pamela Eakins embodies "clarity" and the path of "Meditating Intelligence." This path not only exemplifies high or new ideals, spiritual "oomph" but the excesses of fanaticism, or the danger in rushing headlong into the new solution that will "Save" you.Today seeking "clarity" in alignment. Lesson from Sister Fire, Dec. 2, 2013. We need alignment with the Higher Self, the Light, but firmly grounded with an earthed intelligence. This is the "meditating intelligence."
Zeal. The perfect answer. "What MUST be done.. and then EVERYTHING will be alright." Radical extremism is a danger to the zealot as much as the public.
"The Sign of Silence" - Wonder, beauty, new dawn, hope... "HUSH!" we restrain the child for a moment of silent marvel. Ground, earth, embody new joy but create a pace of grace. remember "fool's rush in."
