On Super Moon and the Sacred Other

Scott K

carl-jung-one-unknown Thinking. Reminding. There is within each of us that is the Other.

Tonight with the moon and astrological aspects and mythic resonance there is, for me at least, the call to make connections, to build bridges. With the Jupiter + Lilith aspects, that could be taken as an expansive on the negative or dark I'd like to offer the following from The Sacred Other...

My process during the Summer Solstice and now with this full moon has been pretty organic with an energetic trend of emerging inner self. The sun shinning on moon, the light illuminating the inner being, or the evolving magickal me within.

Summer solstice was spinning the sun, honoring the turn and high tide of light, solar, social energies and active principles. The Super Moon is pulling on the inner light, the personal path, and I feel the two are becoming one in this new way for myself.

My offer at the Sacred Other is an opportunity to use this time to shine a light into the deepest self, our otherness, the hidden self, and with care, draw forth the more vulnerable parts of the creative and intimate, to create something new in the tide of becoming. In short, the true self which is the treasure that we hide in the shadow. Lilith aspects of Dark Feminine combined with expansive Jupiter and super moon meets solar light creates the perfect time to bring out the dark treasures to light and absolve fear, forgive self, activate the authentic gifts.

During meditation, ritual or in the casually active observation of our self this is possible by honoring our awareness of what we would want to draw forth, or what we fear to bring out, in a supportive way through trust, forgiveness, and love. Look at it as a time of light to integrate deeper aspects and dreams into our goals and life patterns.

Have fun with the process and come from a place of trust with yourself, and as this is a moment that we can make sacred for ourselves, our otherness --the deep self-- can come into a place of co-operation with the outer. It's good work for the soul, if you are so called.

Enjoy the moment.

“A teacher of fear can’t bring peace on Earth. We have been trying to do it that way for thousands of years. The person who turns inner violence around, the person who finds peace inside and lives it, is the one who teaches what true peace is. We are waiting for just one teacher. You’re the one.”
